2017 Audi R8 Pricing Announcedzoom in

Audi has rolled out the pricing for its 2017 R8 sports car in the U.S. There are two versions of the car to choose from including the R8 V10 and the R8 V10 plus. The standard version packs a 5.2-liter V10 making 540 hp and 398 lb-ft. of torque under the hood. The plus version gets a hotter V10 making 610 hp and 413 lb-ft. of torque.

Both versions of the R8 use the same 7-speed S Tronic paddle shift transmission and AWD system. Other differences between the two versions include some high performance gear on the plus version such as carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber rear diffuser, front lip spoiler, exterior mirror housings, and a fixed rear wing spoiler. Plus versions also get racing shell seats – a first for the U.S. The plus version is also 77 pounds lighter than the standard R8 V10.

The standard version does 60mph in 3.5 seconds and the plus version can do it in 3.2 seconds. Pricing for the standard R8 V10 starts at $162,900(USD), and the R8 V10 plus starts at $189,900. No word yet as to exactly when they’ll start rolling off the production line. While we wait, we can see the LMS version of the R8 when it turns out for its U.S. racing debut at Daytona this January 30.
