The crazy forward sliding “Sidewinder” doors of the Rezvani Beast Alpha aren’t the most interesting feature of this car. Its power-to-weight ratio is. The wild looking ride packs in 500 hp for a car that is claimed to weigh under 2,000 pounds.
The Beast Alpha is based on a Lotus aluminum monocoque and the body is made of carbon fiber. Power is from an Acura K24 engine with lots of modification including a turbocharging and tuning. Rezvani says the car can reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds with the sequential automatic or 3.5 seconds with the manual transmission. Top speed is rated at 175 mph
Of course all that power and looks will cost you. The Rezvani Beast will set you back about $200,000.
