2021 Ford Bronco Sport Is Good for 25 MPG in the City

For some buyers of SUVs, fuel economy is a big deal, especially since the big and heavy vehicles have a tendency to guzzle gas. Anyone in the market for a new SUV and thinking about the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will be happy to hear that window stickers for in-stock units have begun to turn up online showing fuel economy numbers. This is despite the fact that the EPA hasn’t published them officially yet. Anyone wanting to see the numbers for themselves can simply search for the Bronco Sport in stock at a Ford dealership near them and then view the window sticker via links on the listings.

Window stickers show that the 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine makes 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft. of torque. That configuration is good for 25 MPG in the city, 28 MPG on the highway, and 25 MPG combined. The First Edition or Badlands trims use a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine making significantly more power, with 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft. of torque.

Fuel economy figures are still pretty good considering the engine’s power, offering 21 MPG in the city, 26 MPG on the highway, and 23 MPG combined. The fuel economy ratings make for an appealing overall package in a capable off-road vehicle. The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport starts at $26,660 for a base model running all the way up to $32,660 for the Badlands.
