2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness Price Revealed

One of the most exciting things to happen to the Subaru Outback family in a long time was the reveal of the Wilderness edition. We knew pretty much everything there was to know about the Wilderness except how much it would cost. As you might have expected, the Wilderness version is one of the pricier Outback trims for 2022 starting at $36,995 before the $1125 destination and handling charge.

The Wilderness edition builds off the Onyx Edition XT, so it uses the 2.4-liter turbo engine. Exclusive features include a revised suspension offering 9.5-inches of ground clearance. Subaru promises the more rugged suspension still remains to comfort and stability on rough terrain and on the road.  It also features a hands-free power gate, 180-degree front view monitor, and full-size matching spare tire. Wilderness buyers get a dual-function X-Mode system and Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires, which are exclusive to the model.

The only option package adds $1845 to the price and includes a power moonroof, STARLINK 11.6-inch multimedia system with navigation, and reverse automatic braking. The Outback Wilderness version will be available this summer.
