The Aston Martin Vanquish is a lustworthy bespoke Brit muscle car without any special treatment, but when the Q division of Aston gets a hold of one and drapes it in matte carbon black, the effect is covetously sinister. The customization actually utilizes multi-layered carbon fiber in the bodywork that results in a finish that’s a smooth as a baby’s butt. And that’s a good thing since Aston Martin had to create an all new manufacturing process to make a body that Darth Vader himself would approve of, heavy breathing and all.
And just when you thought it was all about the exterior, Q also imbued the cockpit with tasty touches like diamond quilted seats, machined carbon Aston Martin badges and “One of Seven” logos, which reflect their extremely limited run. There are only seven made, and each one will go to a fortunate car lover with pockets as deep as the Laurentian Abyss, essentially meaning not you.
