Big Rig Soars 166-feet to Set World Recordzoom in

The big rigs that I see rolling the highways in my part of the world are always pulling trailers and moving slowly. It’s hard to think about one of these trucks moving that fast, much less jumping like the General Lee. A stunt driver and former Baja 1000 winner named Gregg Godfrey channeled his inner Evel Knievel recently, and jumped a big rig an incredible distance.

Godfrey broke a record he set in 2008 for the longest jump in a semi-truck.

Godfrey broke a record he set in 2008 for the longest jump in a semi-truck. This time, Godfrey and his big rig soared 166 feet, the record he set back in 2008 was only 50 feet.

Got the record at a 160ft. I meant to only go 140. So stoked for @tgodfrey155 for go over 200ft in his @polarisrzr …
