BMW Celebrates Its Final V12 with a Special M760i xDrive

BMW has announced that it will produce a limited-edition run of 12 unique M760i xDrive cars for the US market to celebrate its final run of V12 engines. The 12 cars are called The Final V12, and each will pack a 6.6-liter BMW M TwinPower turbo V12 engine that makes 601 horsepower.

Power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission. The car will reach 60 mph in 3.6 seconds while providing the luxury the 7 series is known for. Each limited-edition car will feature V12 emblems on the rear and use a special 20-inch style 760M double-spoke lightweight alloy wheels. The wheels will be painted in either Widow Grey or Jet Black per the buyer’s taste.

The special edition cars will also have M Sport brakes with blue or black calipers. The door sill plates will be decorated with The Final V12, and the engines will have a plaque on them bearing the same. Buyers will be able to choose any of several exterior and interior color combinations via BMW Individual.

BMW expects to begin production in June. The Final V12 will sell for $200,000 plus a $995 destination charge. Considering only 12 will be available for all of the US, it would be no surprise if dealerships added on market adjustments on top of the sticker price.
