Normally when automakers bring vehicles to SEMA, the cars are hopped up and pretty flamboyant. Chevy is doing something different and bringing concepts to this year’s show with what it says is “sophisticated style.” All I see are white cars with blue-tinted wheels that are boring and normal.
Chevy’s Blue Line concepts include a Malibu and Cruze RS hatchback. Both concepts have white exteriors with blue-tinted windows and 18-inch wheels in metallic blue.
The real reason for the concepts is to show off the Chevy Accessories for the Malibu and Cruze. Those include ground effects and a rear diffuser, black grille inserts, black bow tie emblems, rear spoilers, lowering kits, floor liners, illuminated door sills and sport pedals.
While these cars aren’t particularly special looking, they do show off parts that customers can actually add to their cars.
