With each new edition of the Head 2 Head video series from MotorTrend, I hate those guys a little more. This time out the competition is between two of the most track worthy American cars out there, the Corvette Z06 and Dodge Viper ACR.

The 2015 Z06 in the test has the Z07 package and makes 650hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The Viper ACR with its V10 makes 645hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. The Vette is a bit heavier than the Viper. I’m not a huge fan of boosted track cars, I’d rather have the Viper.

Randy Pobst got to hoon the cars around the track. Who wins? Check out the video and see. I hope the Viper wins.
