I’ll be the first to admit that the three-wheel Elio Motors P5 concept isn’t exactly an attractive car on the outside. However, the cool part about the P5 isn’t how it looks; it’s what’s on the inside. This little three-wheel fuel sipper claims to get 84 mpg.

It is able to get that sort of fuel economy thanks to the tiny 0.9L 3-cylinder engine build just for Elio by IAV. That tiny little motor benefits from the fact that the car is also tiny and still offers decent performance.

The P5 can reach 60 mph in 9.6 seconds and the car has a top speed of 100 mph. Its body has been tweaked for aerodynamics and the interior has been changed up for better looks and comfort. Plus, the base price for this car is currently set at just $6,800(USD).

Keep in mind that Elio has been taking deposits for its cars for several years now, and has yet to deliver a production vehicle. That said, their website claims they’ll be delivering their first cars in Q4 2016.
