Ferrari Dino Reportedly Making a Comebackzoom in

The Ferrari Dino, manufactured from 1968 to 1976, was a beautiful car, but it wasn’t really a Ferrari. The mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive autos, which came in both 6- and 8-cylinder models, were basically a brand unto themselves designed to allow Ferrari to try and make a dent in the market for people who could not afford the incredible prices for its top of the line 12-cylinder monsters. Ferrari Chairman Sergio Marchionne told Autocar it will be a Ferrari Dino, not a Dino. There are a lot of unanswered questions regarding the Dino, but reports say its power plant will be in the 500-horsepower range, it will go on sale in 2018 and will cost over $200,000, taking it well out of the reach of any sports car fan looking for high performance at a budget price.
