Ford Performance Bronco 4600 Racing in the ULTRA4 Stock Class

Recently, we talked a bit about the Bronco 4400 that Ford will be racing in the unlimited class of the ULTRA4 racing series. Ford has pulled the covers off of another SUV that will run in the same series, but this time in the stock class. The vehicle is the Bronco 4600, and it’s based on the 2021 Bronco two-door with the Sasquatch Package.

The Bronco 4600 uses a production 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with a SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission and second-generation T-6 chassis. Ford says the vehicle is a testbed for its growing list of Ford Licensed Accessories and Ford Performance parts, along with a number of aftermarket performance parts.

The suspension includes FOX coil-over shocks with remote reservoirs, and FOX hydraulic bump stops at all four corners. The brakes are upgraded with units from Wilwood Engineering. Ford fit the Bronco with Method Race 202 forged beadlock wheels, wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain T/A KM3 tires. Much of the drivetrain is also upgraded, including improved front portal hubs, control arms, steering rack, and toughened axles all around.
