Hennessey Mammoth 1000 Squeezes Even More Power from the RAM TRX

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is an off-road truck packing a 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine that makes 702 horsepower and 650 pound-foot of torque. The V8 is fitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features permanent four-wheel drive. Hennessey has carved a niche for itself by taking already powerful vehicles and making them even more powerful.

This is exactly what the 2021 Hennessey Mammoth 1000 promises. It takes the TRX V8 and upgrades the supercharger and pulleys. It also adds stainless-steel headers, a high flow exhaust system, and a new engine calibration. The modifications bump power to 1012 horsepower and 969 pound-foot of torque. Those are healthy gains of 310 horsepower and 319 pound-foot of torque compared to the stock TRX. Other upgrades include a suspension lift, a new front bumper, custom 20″ wheels, 35″ off-road tires, Mammoth 1000 badging, and more.

The upgraded TRX can reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at 120 mph. Hennessey will build only 200 of the pickups. Pricing, including the donor truck, is $135,350 plus a delivery fee. Deliveries will begin in Q2 of 2021.
