The Icona Vulcano is an exotic car that was first unveiled back in 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show. Icona is bringing a new version of the Vulcano to Pebble Beach this month and the car is called the Vulcano Titanium.

The name comes from the fact that the body of the car is made from a mix of carbon fiber and titanium. The original Vulcano exotic car used a 950 hp hybrid V12 engine. The new version of the car ditches that V12 engine and uses a supercharged Chevy V8 sourced from the Corvette ZR1.

It’s not a normal ZR1 engine with up to 1000hp on tap. The engine is tuned for a normal output of 670 hp and 620 lb-ft. of torque and its makers say it can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The Vulcano Titanium certainly looks cool, but I’d rather see a V12 under the hood of an exotic like this, rather than a common Chevy V8.
