I don’t know about you, but I can watch Shaguars (as Austin Powers says), or… Jaguars race around a track all day. Especially when it’s the F-Type going all-out on the Nurburbring. Thanks to a rando Youtube user, we have this video of F-Type prototypes tackling the storied German track.
These prototype F-Types don’t sway very far from the existing model, to my eyes, but they do remind you how far former Aston Martin and now Jaguar lead designer Ian Callum has resurrected a tired, retro brand.
Okay, it’s a little derivative of the Aston style, but as many creative geniuses have said, “Good artists borrow. Great artists steal.” Even better if you steal from yourself.
