Mercedes-AMG GT R Inspires Racing Boat

I’m a big fan of how the Mercedes-AMG GT R looks and performs. Mercedes has now teamed up with Cigarette Racing to create a gigantic 50-foot Marauder racing boat inspired by the AMG GT R. That means the boat has lots of carbon fiber of the hull, deck, and instrument panels saving about 1,300 pounds.

The boat doesn’t use Mercedes-AMG GT R engines for power, but the engines it uses are even more powerful. The 2017 50′ Marauder AMG has a pair of Mercury Racing 1550/1350 QC4v quad came engines and M8 stern drives.

Like the Dodge Hellcats, these engines come with two key fobs for different performance levels. The Pleasure fob tunes the engines to 1350 hp and standard 91 octane fuel. The Racing fob tunes the engines to 1550 hp for use with race fuel. Mercedes will tell you how much this thing costs, but only if you ask them nicely.
