One of the coolest cars that Mercedes-Benz ever made and sold in the US was the SLS AMG. I have seen and heard one of these in person and it is one badass car. Having such affection for the car, it’s brutal for me to see one being crushed in this video.
We aren’t sure why exactly the car is being demolished. It doesn’t appear to be damaged particularly badly before the claw gets a hold of it. Perhaps this is a pre-production model, or perhaps the owner was into street racing or dealing drugs and his car was crushed as a punishment. I’d like to know why it was crushed. Whatever the reason, it is sad. Watch the video and prepare to be depressed.
