Nerd Student Freaks out Driving Instructorszoom in

I crashed during my driver’s license exam. Whoops. There was a narrow bridge that was covered in snow on an Indiana back road, and I tried to sneak by the car coming in the opposite direction. We both slid on the bridge, and I ended up sideswiping the other car. Somehow, it came out as the other driver’s fault; or at least, I passed my exam.

That has nothing on what Malaysian professional driver Leona Chin puts some first-time driving instructors through in this video. Fully geeking out in pigtails, a SpongeBob t-shirt and glasses, with a giant teddy bear in the back seat for no apparent reason, Leona pretends not to have a clue about how to drive her “brother’s” fully souped-up Nissan S15 when she hops in to take her drivers exam with some unsuspecting noobie instructors. She stalls the car, crawls down the streets, even hits the wipers instead of the turn signal (Instructor: “I said left, not right. It’s not raining!”). One instructor repeatedly tells her she probably needs more practice before she takes this exam. Um, yeah.

So the 28-year-old woman who won “Fastest Lady” at the Thailand Gymkhana X asks for one more try. She throws it into full Fast and Furious mode, races out into a parking lot for a drift Lollapalooza, and darn near gives her passengers a heart attack. Let the video speak for itself. And never judge a book-ish “nerd” by her cover.
