Range Rover has rolled out the most luxury packed SUV it has offered to date at the 2015 New York auto show. The new model takes the place of the Range Rover Autobiography Black edition at the top of the Range Rover line. The new model is called the Range Rover SVAutobiography. That’s a strange and unpronounceable name for a very luxurious SUV.
The SVAutobiography gets an updated V8 that produces 550hp and 502 lb-ft of torque while maintaining the same efficiency as the previous V8. That is thanks to an updated roots supercharger and Bosch engine management system. An 8-speed automatic transmission puts all the power and torque from the big V8 to the ground.
Buyers can now opt for two-tone paint to go with the elegant bespoke interior. All SVAutobiography SUVs are built exclusively by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations.
The SVAutobiography model will launch this fall for a whopping $199,495 (USD).
