Sinister Black Mercedes-AMG GT R Busts up the Nürburgringzoom in

If you haven’t seen the Mercedes-AMG GT R on track so far, you have missed a very cool German bruiser. The car has a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood that makes 585 hp and can reach 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Its top speed is an impressive 198 mph.

In the video here, the car is being wheeled around the Nürburgring’s Nordschliefe circuit by someone who clearly has solid track skills. The car looks and sounds fantastic beating around the track.

It sounds less to me like American muscle than some other Mercedes V8 beasts. I love the popping sounds it makes off throttle.
