If you haven’t watched it yet, Fargo is a brilliant TV show. As good as season one was, this year was even better if you ask me. Not only did season two feature some outstanding performances – especially from Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Jesse Plemons, Ted Danson and Nick Offerman, but it perfectly captured the style and mood of the late 1970s period in which it takes place.
One of the key design elements that transported viewers nearly 40 years into the past was the filmmakers astute selection of vehicles. The cars really helped set the stage, from the period police cars, to the pimped out rides driven by the bad guys, to Peggy’s iconic Chevy Corvair that played a key role in the show.
