I may have a fondness for the Porsche 914 or 356, but if I ever had the chance to own a Porsche, it would likely be in the form of an old 911 or Cayman. A guy named Alexander Bermudez laid his hands on this 1990 911 Carrera RS clone and set out to make it the perfect driver’s car.

Petrolicious got together with Alex to check out his sweet ride.

Its design might be very subtle with white paint and black wheels. Look closely and you can see the roll bar inside. The car has been trimmed of 400 pounds of weight, and has had some serious hot-rodding done to the engine. The car’s exhaust is also very satisfying, earning it the nickname “The Growler.”

It looks and sounds damn good. I’d love to get my hands on this car. The upright headlights of the 911 of this era are what I think of when you say 911. All this car needs to be perfect for me is a big whale tail spoiler on the back.
