Our first glimpse of the Toyota S-FR concept came back in October and that little yellow car wasn’t particularly attractive to me. I didn’t like how curved it was or the front end very much. Regardless, it’s always nice to have more small, light, rear-wheel drive sports cars on the market. Toyota has turned the look of the S-FR concept completely around for me with the new S-FR Racing Concept.

It looks like a pumped up S-FR that is ready for a track day and I love it. The racing concept has a large front splitter, bumper canards, a vented hood, a big rear diffuser, and a disproportionately large rear wing.

That massive wing might work well for the track, but it’s a bit too garish for the street and my tastes. Presumably, the little car will use the same tiny four that the other versions gets. I’d love to drive this thing packing track-ready suspension and about 200 hp. That would be a blast.
