Volvo has announced that it will be rolling out the most luxurious car it has made in the 88-year history of the company at the Shanghai Auto Show. The car is actually an SUV and it is based on the XC90 seven seater that was unveiled before.
Rather than focusing on hauling people to soccer games and such like the normal XC90, the XC90 Excellence focuses on offering opulence and comfort for the rear seat passengers. In place of the four seats in the back of the normal XC90, the Excellence gets only two rear seats.
Those seats are ventilated, offer massage, recline, and have retractable touch screens. The back seat occupants get footrests, special leather trim, tray tables, and a refrigerator with glass and bottle holders. The rear seats even have cup holders that will warm or cool your drinks.
Volvo hasn’t said how much the XC90 Excellence will cost, but has confirmed it will be available globally this year.
