Already facing two lawsuits alleging it used a “cheat device,” Mercedes’ parent Daimler has launched an internal investigation of its diesel emissions certification. The move follows a request by the US Justice Dept. which cites “possible indications of irregularities,” reports TheDetroitBureau.com.
