Barely a week after announcing a tie-up with GM, Honda is launching a joint venture with Hitachi, one of the world’s largest producers of electric motors for automotive applications. They’ll produce motors for hybrids, plug-ins and EVs and even try to sell to other automakers, reports TheDetroitBureau.com.
