Nissan temporarily disabled a smartphone app designed to allow owners of the Leaf battery-electric vehicle to remotely operate various functions. It’s the latest in a growing series of cyber-security scares that could get worse as high-tech systems, including self-driving cars, become more common, reports TheDetroitBureau.com.
