Volkswagen has revealed that a refreshed e-Golf EV will land this fall, at least in Germany. Presumably, the refreshed car will come to other countries as well. While a facelift is usually most noticeable on the outside, it’s what’s underneath that most will covet.
According to Electrive, the car is set to get a significantly larger battery pack with 35.8 kWh of power inside compared to the existing 24.2 kWh battery. That increase of 11.6 kWh of power is expected to push the e-Golf to a driving range of 200 km (~125 miles) in the real world. The e-Golf is also getting more powerful electric motor increasing from 100 kW to 120 kW.
There’s no word on pricing for the upgraded e-Golf yet.
