The latest model of the Shelby F-150 features a new suspension, a bigger supercharger, and a bevy of high-end but understated cosmetic upgrades for the Ford F-150 Lariat.
The 2024 Shelby F-150 is based on the Lariat 4×4 SuperCrew configuration. The base model has the standard 400 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine, but buyers will most likely go for the supercharged option that nearly doubles the truck’s output, allowing it to max out at 785 horsepower.
Aside from the Gen 5 Whipple supercharger in Ford Racing Blue, the optional performance upgrade also includes a carbon fiber intake tube, high-performance fuel injectors, and Borla CAT-back exhaust for a satisfying growl.
As for the new suspension, it has Raptor-style FOX 2.5 shocks with internal bypass shock technology, adjustable dual speed controls, rear traction bars, Eibach racing springs, and a BDS 3-in lift system. The truck also gets upgraded 22-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires.
Other exterior upgrades include a dual intake hood, color-matched fender flares and tonneau cover, power running boards with a rock guard and entry lights, and of course Shelby’s iconic cobra badge and stripes. As always, buyers will be able to choose from Shelby’s wide array of colors for their custom F-150, as well as four different stripe colors.
Inside the 2024 Shelby F-150, you’ll find carbon fiber accents and billet racing pedals, along with the customary full leather seats, branded floor mats and serialized plaque.
The 2024 Ford Shelby F-150 is now available to order. The base configuration starts at $130,000, while the supercharged version starts at $140,000. Only 800 units will be made.
