Nissan has shared the specifications for the upcoming 2025 Rogue. While it’s not a major departure from the crossover’s current iteration, the refresh does add a trim specialized for off-road adventures alongside the usual barrage of assistive features.
The 2025 Nissan Rogue in these pictures is decked out in the new Rock Creek trim, which sits in the middle of the five available trims price-wise. The Rock Creek has a nice black front grille and a tubular roof rack with integrated cross bars. The Lava red accents on those exterior features are also exclusive to Rock Creek and are peppered throughout the interior.
The Rogue Rock Creek also has satin black versions of the 17″ aluminum alloy wheels from the standard model, and is the only Rogue trim to come with Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires. Unlike the Pathfinder Rock Creek, the Rogue doesn’t get any power or suspension upgrades, so it’s more of a rugged appearance package than anything else.
Another neat Rock Creek exclusive is the Off-Road View, which lets you access the 360° exterior view while driving at speeds up to 12 mph – great for spotting obstacles when you’re on the go. Finally, the Rock Creek is also the only trim that gets a 12-volt outlet in the cargo area. Weird that it’s exclusive, but I’m no electrical engineer, so what do I know.
The 2025 Nissan Rogue is powered by the same 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine that’s in the 2024 version, good for up to 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft. of torque. The overall difference is the addition of ProPilot Assist, which makes it easier to drive in compatible roads and freeways.
The base ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV and Rock Creek trims, providing cruise control and steering assist. ProPilot Assist 1.1 is standard on SL and Platinum, adding proactive speed adjustment “ahead of curves and freeway interchanges”. Finally, the optional ProPilot Assist 2.1 allows for hands-free driving, as well as automated acceleration, steering assistance, and braking in compatible roads.
Other extras found in the 2025 Rogue SL and Platinum trims include a 3D rotatable version of the 360° exterior view and an infotainment center that’s pre-installed with Google apps such as Maps and Assistant. All trims are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you don’t have to stick to the built-in apps on the upper tiers.
The 2025 Nissan Rogue should be available this summer, though Nissan has not yet disclosed pricing for the new SUV.
