If you haven’t had a chance to take a performance car out on LA’s historic Mulholland Drive, consider adding that sojourn to your bucket list. Last I checked, you can rent a Mustang convertible out of LAX, and even if it’s not a full-blown horsepower monster, the twists, turns,, scenery and not a few cliff-side Hollywood gazillionaire’s homes along Mulholland guarantee a memorable drive.

The Smoking Tire’s Matt Farah recently took a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost with independent rear suspension down the back-side of Mulholland to see how the new car would handle this fun by bumpy stretch of road. Even better, to give a first-person view of the experience, he created a video all in one take as he snakes his way along. Matt has got plenty of complimentary feedback on Ford’s 310 horsepower turbo during his trip along the sinewy Malibu tarmac, nestled amid the Santa Monica Mountains.
But you’ll likely be too busy dreaming of your first – or next – chance to run this gorgeous stretch of highway to focus too much on the details of his review.
