If you have ever climbed inside one of the later model Ford F-150 Platinum or King Ranch trucks, you know that those are some very luxurious rides. Ford wasn’t content with those trucks being top of the line, so it has announced an even more luxurious and comfortable truck called the F-150 Limited. The Limited will sit at the top of the heap for luxury trucks at Ford.
It gets a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and 6-speed auto transmission. It has two tone Mojave leather interior, lane departure system, BLIS with cross traffic alert, and lots more tech inside. It is also fitted with the Pro Trailer Backup Assist and a system to help you hitch up your trailer with no help.
Quad-beam LED headlights are standard as well as remote start and remote tailgate release. Limited trucks come in shadow black, magnetic, blue jeans, or white platinum metallic tri-coat colors. A panoramic roof, power running boards, and a 360-degree camera system are all standard.
The first F-150 Limited will be sold as a 2016 model, and will be available late this year. Pricing is unannounced, but high-end Ford trucks can head into the $50,000 to $60,000 range easily.
