Ford Performance has unveiled a new racing car that is eligible to compete in multiple racing series around the world. The car is based on the IMSA class-winning Shelby GT350R-C and has 5.2L V8, 6-speed paddle shift transmission, and dry-sump oil system. The car can run in any GT4 racing series in the world.
The GT4 has chassis mods from Ford GT builder Multimatic Motorsports, including upgraded dampers, rear lower control arms, and stabilizer bars. It has Forgeline 18 x 11″ alloy wheels and racing slicks. Aero parts include a big rear wing, splitter, and hood venting along with a new diffuser. The car is also fitted with a FIA-compliant roll cage, motorsports engine control, and six-piston Brembo brakes.
