Nissan has announced pricing for its new 2017 Rogue Sport SUV. This SUV is just a bit smaller than the regular Rogue and Nissan calls it “right sized” and that it has the utility of a small SUV, but the feel and handling of a small sedan. It’s basically the first US version of the Nissan Qashqai.
The SUV hauls five people when needed and comes in S, SV, and SL versions with FWD or AWD. The basic Sport S FWD starts at $21,420, the Sport SV FWD starts at $23,020, and the sport SL FWD is $26,070. If you want AWD, the S will start at $22,770, the SV AWD is $24,370, and the SL AWD is $27,420. All models come with a 141 hp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to an Xtronic CVT.
Buyers can also add Nissan Safety Shield tech to the SUV, as well including Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Prevention and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
