Tesla has been into rainbow Easter eggs of late. Recently, we saw one that allowed owners of the Model S to make the autopilot lane on the car’s display look like the rainbow road from Mario Kart. The latest Easter egg to surface is one that makes the LED ring around the charge port a rainbow of colors.
The Easter egg is available for some Model S and Model X cars with the latest software version installed. It is activated by pressing the charge button ten times in a row, quickly. The ring around the charge port then starts to flash in a rainbow of colors. Check out the video the so-called rainbow charge port in action:
