But give the Kills props for creativity in their new video for the song, Doing It to Death, featuring a funeral procession of classic black Lincoln Continentals rolling through a cemetery in some kind of bizarre Mardi Gras meets Day of the Dead parade. As the folks over at The Drive note, these massive sedans make the perfect stage for Allison Mosshart and friends to croon their blues-rock dirge, as the cars ooze along “as low, slow, and black as a tar spill.”
Ironically, the Lincoln Continental itself has just been resurrected from the dead, with an all-new model due out this fall.
