GM Cutting Third Shift at Midsize Truck Plant

By Joseph Szczesny General Motors is scaling back production of midsized pickup trucks as concerns about COVID-19 were causing higher absentee rates. GM is temporarily dropping the third shift, employing 1,250 workers, at its truck plant in Wentzville, Missouri, just outside St. Louis, reports TheDetroitBureau.com.
